More than a form of expression, for me painting liberates ideas and emotions, and I deliberately leave space for an element of chance. Once the colors have been applied, small details in paint or texture, are added with precision but evolving throughout the creation process of my paintings. Creating in opposition to the fast-paced world, soothing it by leaving room for imagination and time to pause.

Originally from Northern Germany, I left the Baltic Sea in 2004 to settle in the South of France. A change of country and life, an opening up of horizons, a personal and artistic development that led me to oil painting.

The distinctive light of the North, engraved in my memory, blends with the warmer, brighter colors of the South. The movement and light observed in nature are the main source of inspiration for my creations on various materials, paper-canvas-cardboard-wood.
