More than a form of expression, painting is a liberating source of ideas and emotions for me, and I allow for a deliberate element of chance. Once the colors are applied, small details are added, either in paint or texture, applied with precision but evolving throughout the creative process of my paintings.

Appealing to the imagination, my creations claim a challenge to the frenetic pace of the world, inviting the viewer to let go and allow their mind to wander in free interpretation.

 

Originally from Northern Germany, I left the Baltic Sea in 2004 to settle in the South of France. A change of country and lifestyle, an opening of horizons, personal and artistic development that led me to oil painting.

 

The unique light of the North, etched in my memory, blends with the warmer, more vibrant colors of the South. The movement and light observed in nature are the primary source of inspiration for my creations on various materials: paper, canvas, cardboard, and wood.
